Alvin Mears is an animal trainer and owner. His Doberman Pinscher, Rico, is featured in Going Postal, Part 1.
About
Alvin Mears has been an animal wrangler for 31 years, and his animals have appeared in countless print ads, television series and films. He was the owner and trainer for Flash, a dog that appeared in three episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard television series. His animals' many films include Lethal Weapon (1987), Ghost (1990), and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998).
Besides owning and training animals, Alvin has been an actor in a couple films. He played a K-9 police officer in Menace II Society (1993), and a dog pound worker in Eyes of an Angel (1991).
