Mohinder injects himself with a genetic modification formula on a pier in the Hudson River.

Mohinder goes to a pier along the Hudson River to inject himself with a genetic modification formula he has created. He does so, and collapses in a heap. He wakes up when a mugger tries to rob him. However, Mohinder quickly disarms the mugger and scares his buddy. Mohinder is surprised by the effects of his newfound ability.
On the side of a building behind Mohinder is a large painting of the world splitting in half, similar to a painting Usutu created in Botswana.
