Richard Roundtree is the American film and television actor who plays Charles Deveaux, Simone's father on Heroes.

Richard Roundtree has been acting since the early 1970s. He starred as John Shaft in both the original Shaft television series, and in the movie remake starring Samuel L. Jackson. He is also known for his role in Se7en.
