Talk:School teacher
From Heroes Wiki
Name
I appreciate that the character may have been named "School teacher" in the credits (I don't know if this is the case, but I'm assuming it is), but I think the title is confusing since there's been at least one another minor school teacher character, Ms. Gerber... Should the article be renamed to something like Monty and Simon's school teacher, or School teacher (Washington D.C.)? Bohrok Awakener 13:06, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
- We usually name the article the way the actor was credited. —Hero!(talk)(contribs) 19:46, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
- I don't really care one way or another (especially since we have a teacher (disambig) article). However, I want to avoid anything that says she's Monty and Simon's teacher. She works at their school, but she's possibly does not teach either of them, and most definitely does not teach both of them. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:27, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
- Unless it's some kind of hippie progressive one-room schoolhouse. I was in a combined 4/5/6 grade class as an "experiment" when I was in fourth grade. They idea was to put some "advanced" 4th graders and some "slow" 6th graders in with some "average" 5th graders. The net result was that I learned almost nothing, apart from a good deal of misinformation about reproductive anatomy and some really choice curse words.—Hardvice (talk) 21:35, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
- Sounds like a success to me. :) —Hero!(talk)(contribs) 23:27, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

- Actually, she was only credited as "Teacher" - I didn't bother changing what was already in the checklist because I thought it would get renamed since it was so generic. —Fcphantom 00:54, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
- See her IMDb page. Keeping in mind that IMDb is not always correct (Jessica Collins is still listed as being in Four Months Later), it's a still a very good resource. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:24, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
- While I do love imdb, I would take the actual show's credit ("Teacher") over what the website lists. —Fcphantom 18:26, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
